After five years of group practice in the Midwest, Dr. Haigney went back to complete a prestigious accredited Fellowship in Facial Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. He is credentialed in all areas of facial plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures at Charlotte’s main hospitals. He regularly performs cosmetic surgery for facelifts, rhinoplasty (noses), otoplasty (ears), endoscopic browlifts, necklifts, and blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). He also extensively treats facial trauma and reconstructive surgery cases. It is common for other surgeons in the southeast to refer difficult cases and those that have had complications to doctor Haigney because of his unique training and experience.

Dr. Haigney possesses dual board certification. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as being a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He has been Chairman of the department of oral & maxillofacial surgery and on several hospital committees in the Charlotte region. Currently, he is on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Institute of Medicine, a position appointed by Governor Pat McCrory.

He performs the full scope of surgery in a safe and caring environment. He demands excellence and compassion in himself and his staff to treat you and your loved ones as if you were our own family.
