Voluma XC is the thickest product in the line and is built to restore lost volume in the midface. It runs $900 to $1,500 per syringe, and most patients need one to two syringes per side to see a real lift in the cheeks. That puts a full cheek treatment in the $1,800 to $4,000 range. Some providers use Voluma off label under the eyes for hollowing, though this is not an FDA approved use and should only be done by an experienced injector.
Vollure XC treats the nasolabial folds, the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth. It costs $650 to $850 per syringe, and one to two syringes usually gets the job done. Vollure is designed to move naturally with your face, which is why it holds up well in an area that flexes constantly when you talk or smile.
The quoted per syringe price only tells half the story. Lips typically need one syringe. Nasolabial folds usually need one to two. Cheek volume restoration often needs two to four syringes total across both sides. Your actual anatomy, the amount of volume loss present, and how dramatic a change you want all factor into the final number, which is why an in person consultation gives a far more accurate estimate than any general price list.
No. Juvederm is an elective cosmetic treatment, not a medically necessary one, so health insurance does not cover any part of the cost. Some practices offer financing or payment plans to spread the cost over several months, which is worth asking about if budget is the main obstacle.
Swelling, redness, and mild bruising at the injection site are common and usually settle within a few days to a week. Tenderness when touching the treated area is normal for the first day or two. Less common but more serious risks include lumps or nodules under the skin, asymmetry, and in rare cases, a vascular occlusion where filler compresses a blood vessel.
